Community Voices Heard Launches Monthly Legal Clinic

Tuesday, July 11, 2017 - 11:30am

Community Voices Heard is a state-wide grassroots organization that builds power with low-income New Yorkers to fight for racial, social and economic justice. CVH has been building power among immigrants and tenants in Ossining for the past 2.5 years and is excited to be launching a new partnership with the Hudson Valley Justice Center (HVJC) to provide legal services to the greater Ossining community. Beginning on Tuesday, July 11th, HVJC will provide monthly legal clinics in the village of Ossining covering a range of issues from tenant rights, to worker justice, to consumer rights to immigrant rights. The clinics will take place in the fellowship hall at Trinity Episcopal Church (7 S. Highland Avenue, Ossining NY) every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7-9pm.
