CVH Fights for Community Jobs Bill

Dozens of CVH leaders came out in the freezing cold alongside several elected officials to push for greater Congressional support for a national Community Jobs Bill. New York State People's Stimulus Alliance Holds Training & Statewide Press Call

On Friday, October 30th the Federal Government released the first reports on the progress of the stimulus package. Today CVH members joined grassroots and advocacy groups from around New York City and New York State for a workshop to learn more about what's been happening in our communities as a result of the stimulus funding and for the first ever Statewide Telephonic Press Conference to share with the media our response to the statistics released yesterday.
