NYCHA RESIDENTS:
TAKE ACTION!

Tell City Council: NYCHA Residents Need Rental Assistance in the City Budget!

Every eviction is an act of violence – we need to protect NYCHA residents from eviction.

Thousands of NYCHA residents are at risk of eviction due to back rent. We fought hard and won partial funding for back rent in the state budget. Now, we must push the City to finish the job and cover the remaining amount.

The Mayor and City Council are negotiating on this RIGHT NOW.

Use the two forms below to call and email your City Council member and tell them to fund NYCHA back rent, which would protect tenants from evictions and help NYCHA cover its operating costs.
