PUBLIC HOUSING RESIDENTS: TAKE ACTION!

Tell Albany: Public Housing Residents in New York State Need Rental Assistance Funded in the State Budget!

Every eviction is an act of violence – we need to protect public housing residents from eviction across New York State.

Lawmakers in Albany have an opportunity to put $589.4 million towards rental debt relief for public housing residents across the state. This will stop thousands of families from being evicted from their homes. Lawmakers need to hear from you!!

Use the two forms below to call and email Governor Kathy Hochul and the elected officials that represent you in Albany to create a new – or alter the current – Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) to serve public housing residents and provide $589.4 million to fund it. We can stop the eviction crisis from displacing thousands of low-income families.
