Upcoming Elections & Deadlines
2024 November Election:​​

October 21: Deadline to change your address if you are already a registered voter

October 26: Last day for the Board of Elections to RECEIVE a request for an Early Mail Ballot

October 26: Deadline to register to vote as a new voter

October 26-November 3: Early voting • Find your poll sites

November 5: Deadline to postmark or hand-deliver (to your County Board of Elections Office early voting poll site in your county) your Early Mail Ballot. Must be received by the County Board no later than November 12.​

November 5: Election Day

There are many ways you can register to vote:

Register to vote online. You will need: NYS driver license, permit, or non-driver ID card; ZIP Code currently on record with the DMV; and a social security number.

Register in person at your County Board of Elections.

Call the 1-800-FOR-VOTE hotline to request a voter application.
Request an Early Mail Ballot

Visit the NYS Board of Elections portal and apply online.
