Community Groups, Tenants to Call for Housing Action in Overdue State Budget


With the New York State budget nearly three weeks overdue, Poughkeepsie leaders and tenants will be calling on Governor Hochul to pass a state budget that includes critical tenant protections. Tenants will share experiences fighting rent hikes and evictions and how the current lack of protections are impacting Poughkeepsie families.
