These East Harlem Tenants Staged a Rent Strike—And Won

Tenants in five East Harlem buildings won half a million dollars in back rent and repairs, in a settlement with their landlord over poor housing conditions. They now hope other tenants across the city can learn from their organizing.

Been using Pico Image for a while now for resizing and compressing images. It runs entirely in the browser so nothing gets uploaded to a server, which I find reassuring. Background removal works pretty well too, saves me from opening heavier software for simple tasks.

I keep a tab open with crazygames for when I need a break during work. They have a decent collection of browser games that run smoothly without any lag. The racing and shooting categories are where I usually end up spending most of my time.
